Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Cokato, MN (Could be up to max 10-15% travel per year)

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for various automation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLC programming, robotics, and electrical design, contributing to innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop control systems for automation projects
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, VFDs, and servo drives
Create and maintain technical documentation including system specifications and electrical schematics
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of control systems
Conduct testing and validation of control systems to meet safety and performance standards
Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in controls engineering, particularly with PLC programming
Strong knowledge of VFD and servo drive applications
Familiarity with AutoCAD for electrical design
Experience with automation systems and robotics
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
