Millwright / Maintenance Mechanic

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Millwright / Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring operational efficiency and minimizing downtime in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in accordance with specifications and safety standards.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify solutions to ensure seamless operations.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
Fabricate and weld components as needed to support machinery repairs and upgrades.
Operate forklifts to transport materials and equipment safely within the facility.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Millwright or Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial setting.
Strong welding skills with experience in fabrication.
Forklift Certified and experience operating forklifts safely.
Knowledge of mechanical systems, gears, and motors.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
