Mold Designer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mold Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing molds for plastic injection and ejection processes, ensuring high quality and efficiency in production. This role requires a strong understanding of CAD software and experience in working with OEM specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop new mold designs for plastic injection and ejection processes.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure designs meet specifications and production requirements.
Utilize CAD software, specifically Creo and SolidWorks, to create detailed mold models and drawings.
Conduct mold flow analysis to optimize design and performance.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot and resolve mold-related issues during production.
Maintain documentation of mold designs, specifications, and revisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Proven experience in mold design for plastic injection and ejection.
Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Creo and SolidWorks.
Strong knowledge of materials used in molding
Experience with OEM processes and standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
