Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Superintendent to lead field operations on large-scale light industrial construction projects throughout Georgia. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in tilt-up and precast concrete construction who thrives in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking to project completion.
- Manage field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
- Coordinate daily site operations, including scheduling, inspections, and logistics.
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
- Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, and progress photos.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to resolve issues and maintain alignment with project goals.
- Lead site meetings and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Mentor and develop junior superintendents and field personnel.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, with at least 5 years in a superintendent role.
- Proven experience managing tilt-up and precast concrete projects.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in construction scheduling software and field technology tools.
- Deep understanding of construction safety, quality control, and best practices.
- Ability to travel to job sites across Georgia as needed.
