We are looking for a Transactional Attorney to join our team!
Role Overview:
Primary responsibilities will be preparing and/or approving legal documents, providing real estate title and closing related counsel to our team. A typical week could include fielding emails and calls from staff or clients regarding real estate transactions, representing clients from the real estate industry, drafting real estate documents, conducting closings, teaching continuing education, and networking with existing and prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
-Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of real estate and commercial contracts
-Manage real estate transactions from due diligence through closing
-Advise clients on a variety of property-related legal matters, including acquisitions, leasing, financing, and land use
-Coordinate with clients, title companies, lenders, and other parties to ensure seamless transactions
-Support broader transactional practice as needed
Qualifications:
-Juris Doctor (JD)
-Active Ohio Bar license in good standing
-2+ years of transactional experience with a strong emphasis on real property law
-Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
-Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects effectively
